The District at Green Valley Ranch announces its November event schedule and offerings.
Get ready to prep for your Thanksgiving holiday. Whether you’re staying home, ordering takeout, or dining in at one of The District’s most-loved restaurants, there’s something for everyone. Equip yourself with cookware from Williams-Sonoma and dress your table with festive decor from Pottery Barn. Enjoy a Thanksgiving meal at Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ or pre-order your Thanksgiving Feast at Echo & Rig. The options are endless!
Plus, as the holiday season approaches, The District at Green Valley Ranch is gearing up for its annual tree lighting, the return of The Giving Machine, and Santa photo events this November. Shoppers can support local small businesses during Small Business Saturday, featuring stores like Home Means Nevada, Bloom and The Local. In addition to these festive activities, visitors can take advantage of November specials from The District’s tenants and explore the monthly Market in The Alley and Makers Hive artisan markets.

Makers Hive Market – Saturday, Nov. 16
Join The District for the Makers Hive Market, a free family- and dog-friendly event showcasing local small businesses and unique retail shops on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Main St. Experience a vibrant shopping atmosphere filled with handcrafted goods, and artisanal treats and more.
Tree Lighting – Saturday, Nov. 23
To kick off the holiday festivities, The District will host its annual Tree Lighting ceremony on Nov. 23 from 5-8 p.m. Guests are invited to immerse themselves in the holiday spirit, with a winter wonderland featuring the return of The Giving Machine, local shopping with Market in The Alley, snowfall, a meet-and-greet with the Ice Queen and King, live holiday music and sweet treats. The evening will culminate with a special appearance by Santa, who will magically light the community tree.
Market in the Alley – Sunday, Nov. 24
A Halloween-themed community shopping event featuring the city’s local small businesses, The District will host Market in the Alley on Sunday, Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on The Green.

Fit4Moms Stroller Strides Classes – Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
Available each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9 a.m. on The Green behind Whole Foods, Stroller Strides is an interactive fitness class for moms and their babies. Each class is taught by a certified fitness instructor with specialty training in pre-and post-natal women, great for any level of exerciser.
Farmers Market at The District – Every Thursday
With new hours every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., The District invites the entire Henderson community to stop by and check out the Farmers Market on Main Street. Shoppers will enjoy a colorful assortment of freshly harvested farm-fresh produce, including an array of seasonal fruits and vegetables, plus beauty products, jewelry and other handcrafted goods from local creators.

The Thanksgiving Feast at Echo & Rig – Now through Wednesday, Nov. 27
The Thanksgiving Feast at Echo & Rig is now available for pre-order through Wednesday, Nov. 27. The feast includes a Diestel Farms oven-ready whole turkey, traditional stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, brown sugar yams, roasted autumn vegetables, dinner rolls and pumpkin pie, serving 6-8 people for $265. Ready-to-heat à la carte sides can also be purchased to complement your meal. A team member will contact you to schedule your local pickup, available only on Nov. 27 and 28 at Echo & Rig’s Tivoli Village location.

Thanksgiving Offering at King’s Fish House – Thursday, Nov. 28
On Thursday, Nov. 28, King’s Fish House will offer a three-course Thanksgiving menu available all day. Guests can choose from a starter of clam chowder or mixed organic greens, an entrée of roasted turkey accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes, traditional cranberry sauce, homemade sourdough apple-celery stuffing, and turkey gravy, and a dessert selection of pumpkin cheesecake or old-fashioned chocolate cake. This special menu is priced at $52 for adults and $19 for children under 12 years old. The regular menu will also be available.
