Get ready to shine at Rouge Room, the intimate, velvet cocktail lounge located within Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa. The lounge is excited to host the first of their weekly “Rouge Star Karaoke” nights. Starting at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, guests can take to the stage for a live band karaoke experience backed by The Busker Kings to sing their hearts out for a chance to win up to $1,000. Feel the thrill of the spotlight and taste stardom every Thursday night at Rouge Room. Starting at 8 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to take center stage within the scarlet space and sing their favorite songs live on stage with The Busker Kings, a prolific karaoke band starring Ben Carey, former lead guitarist for Lifehouse, Vertical Horizan and Savage Garden; Gigi Gonaway, drummer extraordinaire who has toured with Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson, among others; and Shawn Eiferman a 40-plus year music industry veteran who has shared the stage with the likes of Prince, the Goo Goo Dolls and Guns n’ Roses, among others. Those who have dreamed of singing with musicians who have played arenas, had multiple number-one songs on the radio and toured worldwide can live that dream at Rouge Star Karaoke. In the entertainment capital of the world, the only way to do karaoke the right way is with The Busker Kings.
At the end of the inaugural evening, management will select the top three singers from throughout the night to retake the stage for one final showdown. From there, the crowd’s applause will crown the best singer, who will walk away with a cash prize of $1,000.
