Singer-songwriter and outlaw original Lacy J. Dalton will reissue three of her fan-favorite albums and five singles in a continued partnership with StarVista Music. These albums include ‘The Last Wild Place Anthology,’ ‘Here’s To Hank,’ and ‘Scarecrow,’ along with five independent singles reissued including “Let ’em Run,” “Wild Pony Lullaby Run,” “Mustang Run,” “Next To Me,” and “Horse Comin’.” With a career spanning nearly fifty years and nearly thirty albums, Lacy J. Dalton shows no signs of slowing down. In addition to her ongoing partnership with StarVista, she continues to tour the United States.
“It’s been such a great partnership with Starvista and I am happy we are able to continue it with a few more of my independent projects that I am extremely proud of,” shares Dalton. “As a songwriter, these tracks bare my soul and hopefully, more people will get to hear them now.”
Lacy J. Dalton is currently celebrating the 35th anniversary of her hit single “Black Coffee,” written by Hillary Kanter and Even Stevens. Released in March 1990 as the lead single from her Lacy J. album, the track climbed to No. 15 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart by June of that year. Quickly becoming a fan favorite, “Black Coffee” remains a defining moment in Dalton’s storied career, highlighting her signature gritty vocals and heartfelt storytelling. The song cemented her reputation as one of the era’s most respected artists and continues to captivate both longtime fans and new listeners, standing as a lasting testament to her influence in country music.
