St. Jude Heart of Fashion transforms to a virtual experience because cancer doesn’t stop

With donor support, neither will St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

The annual St. Jude Heart of Fashion event, benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, has transitioned to a virtual experience, streaming live on Friday, June 19. The online streaming event will feature St. Jude mission moments, guest speakers, live auction and more.

Social distancing is not a new concept for the patients and families of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, giving us the opportunity to truly empathize with their norm of isolation and uncertainty. Thanks to generous donors, St. Jude remains ever committed to the promise made to the tens of thousands of families who depend on St. Jude – no matter what else the world is facing.

The evening, hosted by Heather Mills of KSNV News 3, will feature St. Jude mission moments, both silent and live auctions, as well as an exclusive fashion show by luxury retailer Chloe. Wayne Sermon, lead guitarist with the Imagine Dragons will be the featured speaker and Rick Shadyac, CEO of ALSAC, will be sharing a special message with attendees. The event supports St. Jude, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Thanks to generous donors who participate in events like this, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since the doors to the hospital opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.

Supporters may tune in to the virtual event at no cost but there is also a VIP ticket available for $50, which includes a St. Jude Mission Box filled with a variety of items to amplify their virtual event experience. Supporters also have the option to become a Partner In Hope by pledging just $20 a month to help kids at St. Jude fight cancer.
