Dennis DeYoung will take over the South Point Grand Ballroom to welcome the New Year in style with special guest The Alley Cats. As the founding member of the rock group Styx, DeYoung has entertained fans for over five decades and will bring his top hits to life for the New Year’s celebration, including “Lady,” “Come Sail Away,” “Best of Times,” “Mr. Roboto,” “Show Me The Way,” “Babe” and more. The sweet doo wop sounds of The Alley Cats will get the party started from 8 to 10:40 p.m. Tickets to DENNIS DEYOUNG: THE MUSIC OF STYX include a four-course dinner, open bar, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.

Michael Cavanaugh brings the music of Billy Joel and more to the South Point Showroom. Cavanaugh is an actor, musician and singer most famous for being handpicked by Billy Joel to play piano and sing lead vocals for the Broadway musical “Movin’ Out.” He will have guests singing along all night to his covers of classic favorites such as “Piano Man,” “Just The Way You Are” and “Only The Good Die Young.”

The sound of Motown invades South Point’s Showroom every Tuesday from 8 to 11 p.m. excluding Tuesday, Jan. 24 where guests can catch the show in the Grandview Lounge. Guests will experience an evening hosted by Gregg Austin while enjoying the everlasting sounds that dramatically altered the world of music. South Point’s Showroom hosts Déjà Vu every Wednesday throughout December and January from 6 to 9 p.m. excluding Wednesday, Jan. 25 where Déjà Vu will host a free show in the Grandview Lounge at 6 p.m. Guests will experience an evening of pure excitement as they dance through the decades. Dennis Bono Show –Thursday Afternoons Throughout December and January
South Point’s Dennis Bono Show offers guests a wide variety of amusement in the South Point Showroom every Thursday throughout December and January at 2 p.m. Featuring appearances with established celebrities from the world of entertainment, Bono’s interaction with his guests creates a one-of-a-kind performance. Gabe Lopez and the South Point present “The Dirty at 12:30” inside the South Point Grandview Lounge every Friday night throughout December and January at 11:59 p.m. This show is not for guests that are easily offended and cannot handle dirty raw comedy. Special guests who have appeared on the “Dirty” stage include Ralphie May, Joey Diaz, Joe Rogan, Carlos Mencia and many more. Always dirty, always free. This event is free and open to the public. Wes Winters – Friday and Saturday Nights Throughout December and January – Just Updated
Wes Winters’ unique “One-Man-Lounge-Show” visits the South Point Hotel every Friday and Saturday in December and January starting in the South Point Showroom Friday, Jan. 6 and in the Grandview Lounge starting Friday, Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. for the remainder of the month. Guests will be dancing all night while listening to Winters’ innate vocal and piano skills. This event is free and open to the public.
SPAZMATICS –Saturday Nights Throughout December and January – Just Updated
The SPAZMATICS will party away to the best of the 1980s in the South Point Showroom every Saturday night throughout December and starting in January on Saturday, Jan. 14 with a special show on New Year’s Eve at 10:15 p.m. Tickets for the show on New Year’s Eve are available for $75 and can be purchased here. Tickets for December and January’s shows are available for $5 or guests can purchase a “SPAZMATICS Party Package” for $10 including one ticket, one drink and reserved seating.
