L, CASINO AND SPA OFFER SPECIALTY MENUS TO CELEBRATE VALENTINE’S DAY

Feel the love this Valentine’s Day at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa and celebrate with five different specialty menus available at their award-winning restaurants. Reservations are not required but recommended and can be made online at southpointcasino.com/dining.
Baja Miguel’s will serve a three-course meal from Feb. 13 through Feb. 15, 4–10 p.m., for $28.95 per person. Each meal includes a margarita or a glass of wine for each guest.
- First Course: Spicy Duck Taquitos, lightly spiced duck rolled in corn tortillas, crispy fried, and served with sour cream and red currant jelly, or Baja’s Salad Bowl, spring greens with teardrop tomatoes, black olives, diced jicama and salsa cream dressing or Miguel’s Camarón Cóctel, chilled shrimp with tequila-laced avocado cream over chopped lettuce.
- Second Course: Salmon Del Mar, seared salmon fillet topped with shrimp and crab in tequila cream sauce with pomegranate seeds or De Los Campos, twin 3 oz. filets of beef sautéed with mushrooms and finished in cognac cream sauce.
- Both entrées are served with Elóte corn and Spanish rice.
- Third Course: Strawberry Rose, chocolate and strawberry mousse cake with fresh strawberries and a shot of tequila or Golden Churros, golden-fried churros dusted with cinnamon sugar, served with caramel syrup and whipped cream.

Coronado Café will serve a three-course Valentine’s Day meal on Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $18.95 per person. Each meal includes a glass of wine or a cocktail for each guest.
- First Course: Cream of Asparagus Soup or Valentine’s Salad Bowl, featuring spring lettuce, teardrop tomatoes, mandarin oranges, toasted pecans, and apple cider dressing.
- Second Course: Crab-Stuffed Fillet of Salmon with chive and lime cream or Grilled Chicken Breast Coronado, topped with grilled bacon, mushroom caps and Béarnaise sauce.
- Both entrées are served with seasonal vegetables and whipped potatoes.
- Third Course: Fresh Fruit Salad with raspberry sorbet or Red Velvet Heart Cake with strawberries and whipped cream.

Don Vito’s will serve a three-course dinner from Feb. 13 through Feb. 15 between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. for $49 per person. Each meal includes a bottle of the Wine of the Month for every two guests.
- First Course: Lobster Ravioli, served with asparagus tips and cherry tomatoes in a roasted garlic cream sauce or Spinach and Strawberry Salad, featuring baby spinach, sliced strawberries, and toasted pecans tossed in balsamic poppy seed dressing or Seafood and Herb Bruschetta, shrimp and crab meat salad folded with tomatoes, fresh basil, and mint on toasted crostini or Italian Wedding Proposal Soup, chicken broth with chicken meatballs, leeks, carrots, and orzo.
- Second Course: Chicken Oliva, free-range chicken breast filled with pancetta, spinach, and ricotta cheese, pan-seared with mushroom and Marsala sauce or Rose of Parma, sliced roast tenderloin of beef rolled with prosciutto and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, topped with Italian roasted garlic sauce or Seafood Asti, shrimp and crabmeat in a Champagne cream sauce served over spinach tagliatelle.
- All entrées are served with farfalle pomodoro and seasonal vegetables.
- Third Course: Strawberry Sophia, marinated strawberries served over Grand Marnier sponge cake, topped with brown sugar whipped cream and chopped pistachios or White Chocolate Cheesecake with seasonal berries and whipped cream or The Godfather’s Choice, a rich chocolate cake with raspberry and chocolate mousse, Melba sauce, and whipped cream.

Silverado Steakhouse will serve a four-course dinner from Feb. 13 through Feb. 15 between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. for $66 per person. Each meal includes a bottle of the Wine of the Month for every two guests.
- First Course: Roasted Baby Portabella Mushrooms, filled with Boursin cheese, prosciutto, and spinach, drizzled with Chardonnay butter sauce or Blackened Sea Scallops N’Oleans, served on trinity rice with Creole cream sauce or Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps, teriyaki-seasoned chicken with carrot strings, bean sprouts, and water chestnuts, served with crisp iceberg lettuce leaves.
- Second Course: Two Hearts Salad Bowl, artichoke hearts and hearts of palm with romaine lettuce, golden cherry tomatoes, raspberry vinaigrette, and Asiago cheese crostini or Cream of Asparagus Soup with crème fraîche.
- Third Course: Steak Dianne, sautéed medallions of beef flamed in cognac and finished with a rich mushroom wine sauce or Seared White Sea Bass, pan-seared and topped with rock shrimp, tomato and basil relish over red pepper cream or Marry Me Chicken, sautéed chicken breast in a sundried tomato cream sauce with mushrooms and artichoke hearts or Lover’s Surf ‘n Turf for Two, grilled and sliced New York steak topped with Merlot reduction, served with four grilled shrimp and citrus butter, wilted spinach and mushrooms.
- All entrées are served with seasonal vegetables and Parisian potatoes.
- Dessert: Mango Cream Mousse, served with ladyfingers and seasonal berries or Peach Melba, half a peach over vanilla bean ice cream with Melba sauce, whipped cream, and toasted almonds or “No Guilt” Decadent Chocolate Cake, served with cappuccino cream and fresh strawberries.

Primarily Prime Rib will serve a three-course dinner from Feb. 13 through Feb. 15 between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. for $45 per person. Each meal includes a bottle of the Wine of the Month for every two guests.
- First Course: Chicken and Mushroom Crepes, tender chicken and mushrooms in a cream sauce, folded in thin crepes and topped with a light cream sauce or Crab & Avocado Toast, grilled rustic bread with burrata cheese, sliced avocado, crab meat, and a watercress cream drizzle or Cream of Asparagus Soup with crème fraiche or A Salad of Love, arugula lettuce, cubed watermelon, blue cheese crumbles and toasted walnuts tossed in champagne vinaigrette.
- Second Course: Roast Prime Rib of Beef, a 10 oz. cut, slowly roasted for full flavor or Grilled Fillet of Salmon Princess, topped with asparagus tips and choron sauce or Chicken Paillard, chicken scaloppini sautéed with cherry tomatoes and capers in lemon butter, served on a bed of saffron and mushroom risotto or Surf & Turf Platter for Two, featuring two medallions of beef with Merlot reduction and sautéed lemon-buttered shrimp on wilted spinach.
- All entrées are served with baked, chateau, or whipped Yukon gold potatoes and broccolini.
