Sin City Scare Fair,
Las Vegas’ Newest Halloween Haunt,
Opens Its Doors for 15 Days of Horror on Friday, Oct. 11
Special Guest Appearances by Travis Love from AMC’s “The Walking Dead”
and Naomi Grossman from FX Network’s “American Horror Story”
Get ready to experience the newest and ultimate terror in Sin City! Unlike any other haunted Halloween attraction in Las Vegas, the first-ever Sin City Scare Fair (121 E. Sunset Rd., Las Vegas) will open its doors to the public on Friday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. The bone-chilling 60,000-square-foot festival features two frightfully-fun haunted houses and several unique and horror-filled experiences that make this an event for the whole community. Additionally, Sin City Scare Fair will welcome special celebrity guests from AMC’s “The Walking Dead” and FX Network’s “American Horror Story,” throughout the month making it the only haunt-of-its-kind in Las Vegas.
“We are excited to bring the first Sin City Scare Fair to the residents of Las Vegas,” says Frank DiMaggio, producer of Sin City Scare Fair. “With two haunted houses, celebrity guests, and other interactive Halloween activities, this festival breaks the mold of the traditional haunted experiences for the Las Vegas community.”
Sin City Scare Fair is the only Halloween attraction in Las Vegas to feature celebrity guests from critically-acclaimed television shows. The kick-off weekend of Sin City Scare Fair will celebrate the premiere of AMC’s mega-hit “The Walking Dead” with special guest Travis Love on Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12, sponsored by Zombie Apocalypse Vodka. The following weekend, Naomi Grossman, who plays “Pepper” on FX Network’s “American Horror Story” will be make an appearance on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet with the stars on-site at the festival. There will be additional celebrity guest appearances and special events announced shortly.
Sin City Scare Fair spans a 60,000-square-foot space located just off of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. The festival features several terrifying attractions including:
- Two Haunted Houses In One
- “Nightmares”
Not for the faint of heart, Sin City Scare Fair has combined two haunted houses into one, designed to scare unsuspecting victims at every turn. Breaking the traditional format of a singularly themed haunted house—the first haunted house brings to life guests’ worst nightmares as they wind inside and outside the building not knowing what is lurking next.
- “Coulrophopia 3D: No Laughing Matter”
The second house brings to life one of the most common phobias, Coulrophopia (Fear of Clowns), in a fully immersive 3D attraction. This thrilling experience brings guests’ senses and fears of clowns to new heights.
- “Terror Track”
Guests will race on a haunted track in state-of-the-art drifting Go-Karts and ride among the dead as zombies zip by them on their one last thrill. Make sure not to fall too far behind in the race or wind up undead too.
- “The Last Ride”
This ride is a burial simulator for only the bravest of souls. Enter and try to get comfortable in a real used coffin. The coffin will then take guests on a ride that one rarely gets to enjoy while alive. Hear, feel and even smell what it is going to be like when your time comes.
For those who can’t handle the terror of the hair-raising haunts, Sin City Scare Fair has other elements the whole family can enjoy throughout the Halloween season including a pumpkin patch, an arcade, plus food and shopping.
Sin City Scare Fair will be open on select nights Oct. 11 – Oct. 31 at 121 E. Sunset Rd, just behind the Callaway Golf Center. Ticket prices range from $30 – $55 and guests can purchase a onetime jump-the- line-pass for an additional $10 to be used at the attraction of their choice. All tickets include full access to the festival and one time admittance into both of the haunted houses and “The Last Ride.” For a complete schedule of when Sin City Scare Fair is open and for more information, visit www.sincityscarefair.com.
