Last evening (Saturday, Feb. 22) the stars came out to Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Spotted were “Pitch Perfect” co-stars and gal pals, Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow, who held court at a VIP table on the main stage next to the DJ booth. Arriving just before midnight, the two enjoyed themselves while sipping champagne and cocktails and showing off their best dance moves with friends to the high-energy set by Hakkasan featured artists, Dada Life.
At another table nearby, “That Awkward Moment” actor Miles Teller was spotted celebrating his birthday, just days after turning 27. Joined with a large entourage that included Chase Crawford, the party arrived after midnight and headed to the nightclub’s main room, where they immediately kicked off the festivities and began dancing. Around 1:00 a.m., Teller was presented with a three-tier cake as confetti flew through the air and his name took over the eye-catching floor-to-ceiling LED screen. The cake, decorated with a “Fantastic Four” theme, in honor of his newly announced role as Mr. Fantastic in the upcoming reboot, was shared by all, including his girlfriend, who concluded the cake presentation by giving her man a kiss.
Also in attendance was Teller’s “Divergent” co-star and UK heartthrob, Theo James. Seated on the main stage at a VIP table next to Kendrick and Snow, James was seen with girlfriend Ruth Kearney and a small group of friends. The crew spent the evening dancing and mingling and even got a visit by Snow as she joined their table to chat for a bit.
Earlier in the evening, Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant was also the place to see and be seen, as all of the above enjoyed the restaurants signature bites and libations. Close girlfriends Kendrick and Snow were seen in high spirits, sipping on signature Zesty Martini and Chinese Mule cocktails as they dined on Vegetarian steamed dim sum platters and Hakka noodles with mushrooms and Chinese chives with several of their friends.
Teller also began his birthday celebration with Crawford and friends at the modern Cantonese hot spot, indulging in the Mongolian-style beef tenderloin and the Jasmine tea smoked beef short ribs. The group paired their dishes with a sake and wine selection from the venue’s extensive list.
And a table away, seen enjoying the company of three other acquaintances, was up-and-coming James. The actor and his group savored on classics such as the Crispy duck salad, Roasted Silver Cod with Champagne and Chinese honey among others.
