Genre-Bending Pop Duo Karmin extends #PulsesTour to include FREE performance during Rock of Vegas Summer Concert Series on May 24
Say “Hello” to the genre-bending pop duo Karmin (Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan) as they perform a free a concert Memorial Day Weekend at Fremont Street Experience. An extension of the duo’s current #PulsesTour, Karmin will take Fremont Street Experience’s 1st Street Stage on Saturday, May 24 at 9 p.m. as part of the Rock of Vegas summer concert series. With hit songs such as “I Want It All,” “Crash Your Party,” “Look at Me Now” and “I Told You So,” Karmin’s performance is one that is sure to not leave audiences “Brokenhearted” at the end of the night.
“Every year the lineup for Fremont Street Experience’s Rock of Vegas concert series gets better and by kicking off the summer with an artist of Karmin’s caliber, this year is no exception,” said Jeff Victor, president at Fremont Street Experience. “There’s no better way to celebrate the official start of summer this Memorial Day Weekend than listening to a great artist underneath the neon lights of the Viva Vision canopy.”
Every May-September Fremont Street Experience transforms Downtown Las Vegas into the hottest place to be with the Rock of Vegas summer concert series; one of the most popular summertime events in Las Vegas featuring four months of rockin’ nightly entertainment, free headliner concerts and Viva Vision shows. This year’s concert series kicks off Sunday, May 18 with Marianas Trench and will also include the Summerland Tour 2014: Featuring Everclear, Soul Asylum, Eve 6 and Space Hog on July 18. In the three years since Karmin’s Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan signed to Epic Records, the duo has been on a wild ride. They have earned accolades from hip-hop heavy hitters The Roots’ Questlove, Diplo, Jermaine Dupree, and The Game, performed more than 600 live shows, racked up nearly a billion collective views of their eye-popping videos (fueled by the devotion of millions of loyal fans around the world, who call themselves “Karminites”), scored the double-platinum hit “Brokenhearted” off their 2012 EP Hello, and appeared on popular shows including Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Queen Latifah Show, ABC’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and a performance of iHeartRadio Festival. After the wildly successful summertime hit single “Acapella,” a gold-certified hit, the duo released their debut full-length album Pulses on March 25, 2014. The current hit single “I Want it All” recently hit Billboard’s Mainstream Top 40 at #39. The wildly popular #PulsesTour in support of the album was recently extended to include additional dates, including the May 24 performance at Fremont Street Experience.
