Merging the worlds of fine arts and performing arts, Rotella Gallery in Las Vegas and New York City is launching a recurring monthly event – 1st Sunday Sax – as a new way of experiencing the gallery’s powerful photography. Bringing art lovers together starting Dec. 7, 1st Sunday Sax is a harmonious intermingling of creative minds, bold styles and enhanced senses.

Rotella Gallery’s flagship location in Las Vegas will begin 1st Sunday Sax on Dec. 7 from 1 – 3 p.m. Located in the Forum Shops at Caesars, Rotella Gallery has enlisted Steve Golden to perform. Golden boasts more than forty years of music experience with major recording artists and plays soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones (not to mention all flutes, all clarinets and the EWI – an electronic woodwind instrument). A native Bostonian and graduate from Berklee College of Music with a degree in music composition, he has performed on tour with Diana Ross, appeared on HBO and shared stages with the likes of Shirley McClain, Frank Sinatra, Tony Benett, Anthony Newley, Burt Bacharach, Tom Jones, The Gatlin Brox., Sammy Davis Jr. and Wayne Newton, to name a few.

Located in SoHo, Rotella Gallery’s New York City location will feature The Eric DeAngelis Duo on Dec. 7 from 1 – 3 p.m. Composed of Eric DeAngelis (baritone saxophone and flute) and Jeff Hall (upright bass), this pair injects new life into a varied selection of classic standards from the Great American Songbook as well as compositions by more contemporary jazz musicians. Aside from their joint musical endeavor, DeAngelis serves as the Director of Instrumental Music at Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, CT and maintains a large studio of private woodwind students while Hall is a performing musician who also helps nurture the musical growth of students trough private lessons. Both reside in Connecticut and perform and record regularly with their progressive-jazz fusion group Mid Atlantic Title.

Rotella Gallery features photography from four of the world’s leading professionals in the field: Robert Rotella, Art Wolfe, Michael Levin and David Yarrow. Each with a distinct point of view, their works live side by side in Rotella Gallery, resulting in a refreshing and breathtaking approach to the world of fine art photography. About Rotella Gallery
Since its inception, Rotella Gallery has remained committed to offer Fine Art Photography as collectible and unique. Our two artists, Robert Rotella and Art Wolfe, bring subject matter to life in often idiosyncratic and unpredictable fashion. In true artistic form, Art Wolfe has culminated his talent as a painter and as a master photographer and created his latest body of work entitled “Human Canvas.” The collection is offered in “Signature Editions of 200” and “Exclusive Editions of 12”. Robert Rotella, whose work with macro-photography is unrivalled, has traveled the globe to capture an often overlooked and unseen world. His compelling images capture everything from the ethereal grandeur of Arizona’s canyon and mountain landscapes to the fleeting beauty of bleeding heart flowers refracted through a morning dewdrop. His flagship offering comprises edition sizes of only 100.
