The 2nd Annual Poker Tournament Fundraiser
To Benefit the Clark County Museum Guild

The Duke of Fremont Street, an internationally known poker legend, will again host the “Pinstripes & Polka Dots” fundraiser poker tournament and silent auction at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, on Friday, October 26, 2012, doors opening at 6 p.m. and “cards in the air” at 8 p.m. The event will benefit the Clark County Museum Guild, which supports the preservation of Southern Nevada history and culture at the Clark County Museum.

The poker tournament, held in the Golden Nugget Ballroom, is sponsored by the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, Marker Boat & Mini Storage, the Golden Nugget, Poker Gives, LV Coin, LLC, AAA Coin & Jewelry, Light Metal Exchange, LLC, and many more local merchants. It is open to the public and will include a celebrity Bounty “Hit List” featuring professional poker players – World Series Of Poker Champion Tom McEvoy, “JJ” Liu, Sam O’Connor, Roberto Mercer, Karina & Chip Jett, and Aaron Michaljevich; local celebrities – Vinnie Favorito, Howie Locke, and Robert Nash; sports great – Michael Brown; and well known TV personalities –the “Pawn Stars” with Mark Hall-Patton. The Duke and the “Hit List” (Bounty) players will be on the red carpet for autographs and photo opportunities starting at 6 p.m.

The silent auction, hosted by the Pacific Auction Company, will open at 6 p.m. for the duration of the poker tournament, and will offer 60 to 80 items which will cover a wide range of featured items.

Those in attendance are encouraged to “dust off your Pinstripes and shake out your Polka Dots!” as a themed “vintage” costume contest will also take place during the event.

The buy-in for the tournament is $100 with unlimited $20 re-buys for the first hour. The last ten players standing will receive compensation in the form of prizes with the final three playing for a purse of $1000. Players who have fulfilled the “contracts” on the “Hit List” and the costume contest winners will also receive prizes.
