Sam’s Town Live! to Host Traditional Polynesian Entertainment During Asian-Pacific Island Heritage Month – May 24-25
WHAT/ WHEN:
Taking place on May 24 and 25 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the event will feature an exciting dance competition along with an introduction to the culture of French Polynesia through drums, dances, songs, and chants. Tetua Ioane, a native-born French Polynesian Tahitian and descendant of the Monarchy, will host the competition.Tickets to watch the event are $20 for adults and $10 for guests ages 5-12.
Tumu Nonosina
Doors open at 7 p.m. on May 24; shortly after, a cast of more than 30 dancers, drummers, musicians and entertainers will take the stage for the authentic Polynesian/Tahitian floorshow, Tumu Nonosina.
The show is for ages 8 and up and tickets are $20.
