Sam’s Town Las Vegas challenges college football fans to Pick the Bowls

In the spirit of Las Vegas’ most popular free football competition, Pick the Pros, Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall invites players to Pick the Bowls in an brand-new contest for B Connected and Turf Club members. A total of $5,000 in cash will be split by the three contestants with the most winning selections.

“Bowl season is one of the most exciting times of the year for football fans, and we wanted to offer our customers a unique new opportunity to win,” said John Sou, General Manager of Sam’s Town Las Vegas. “Pick the Bowls is a standout promotion unlike anything else on the Boulder Strip, and it is only available at Sam’s Town.”

To participate, contestants make 15 picks (against the point spread) out of 35 eligible bowl games. The player with the most correct picks will take home $3,000, with second place taking $1,500 and third place, $500. Free entries into the contest can be earned by placing wagers on three-team parlays or earning 50 base slot points on a B Connected card, with a maximum of five entries per player.

Players can begin earning entries and make their picks at the self-serve terminals at Sam’s Town’s race and sports book from Friday, December 13 at 10:30 a.m., to Tuesday, December 31 at 10:30 a.m. Winners will be announced the week of January 6, after the completion of all bowl games. In the event of a tie for any position, the prize money will be divided equally among the tied contestants.
