Saddle Up for Excitement as the Rodeo
Rides into Laughlin Event Center on April 12-13
Aquarius Casino Resort, located at 1900 S. Casino Dr., and Edgewater Casino Resort, located at 2020 S. Casino Dr., will welcome the CINCH World’s Toughest Rodeo to the Laughlin Event Center for two days of action-packed entertainment, live performances and an exclusive cowboy marketplace featuring vendors, food trucks, giveaways and more on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13.
The renowned CINCH World’s Toughest Rodeo Tour has been entertaining audiences with top rodeo entertainment since 1979 and this event marks Laughlin’s first rodeo in more than a decade. Fans can expect a weekend of adrenaline-pumping action, including bucking broncos, bull riding, cowboy contests and more. The LEC gates will open at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, with the pre-show down on the dirt beginning at 5:30 p.m., and the main event starting at 7 p.m. Gates will open at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, with the pre-show down on the dirt at 10:30 a.m. and the rodeo starting at noon.
Voted Best Destination Casino/Resort by Best of Las Vegas 2024, Aquarius Casino Resort will feature live performances by country cover band Outlaws & Angels from Thursday through Saturday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Splash Lounge. Popular country-variety band Randy Anderson Duo will perform live patio entertainment on Friday and Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at River Rock Pizza & Pasta. On Saturday, April 12, select rodeo cowboys will be in the Aquarius lobby to sign autographs and take photos with rodeo fans. Café Aquarius will offer a chili bowl special for $5 throughout the weekend, while visitors to the casino can enjoy drink specials such as a five-for-$25 domestic beer deal available at all casino floor bars.
Edgewater Casino Resort will feature country music hits spun by DJ Miguel Guidos on the casino floor from 5 to 9 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Hungry hombres and cowgirls can indulge in a variety of food and beverage specials throughout the weekend including a $9 burger and fries combo and foot-long hotdogs priced at $3 at PT’s Express, in addition to a new menu of barbecue offerings at Stockman’s Steakhouse, including St. Louis-style ribs with grilled corn and coleslaw or bourbon-braised short ribs with crispy garlic parmesan potatoes, both priced at $35. The five-for-$25 domestic beer special will also be available at all casino floor bars, ensuring guests can keep the good times going throughout the weekend.
Behind the Laughlin Event Center, the River Rodeo Roundup Marketplace will be open to the public from 1 to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Attendees will have the opportunity to shop around a variety of vendors, including Mohave Munchies & Pick your Potion Coffee.
