with immersive holiday events and partnerships with local performing arts groups.

UnCommons, Southwest Las Vegas’ vibrant 40-acre urban campus across from the new Durango Casino & Resort, will transform into a magical holiday destination during “Season of Splendor.” Every weekend from Saturday, Dec. 7 through Saturday, Dec. 21, The Quad will host a dynamic lineup of family-friendly festivities celebrating the season and UnCommons’ commitment to the arts, community and connection.

Throughout the month, guests can enjoy dazzling pop-up performances, live music by roaming carolers and festive decor throughout The Quad. Seasonal highlights include an Airstream bar offering complimentary hot chocolate from Urth Caffé and cozy fire pits complete with a s’mores concierge offering sweet s’mores made with locally crafted Mexican chocolate from Siempre J.B. and savory options featuring cheese and meats from Wineaux and AMARI Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop. Guests can also explore pop-up carts offering tamales, pozole and holiday gifts from Siempre J.B.; mulled wine and gift baskets from Wineaux; holiday cashew mix, popcorn and a seasonal old-fashioned from General Admission; seasonal ice cream from Salt + Straw; tinsel extensions and curl enhancements from Capelli Salon and holiday tattoos and eyebrow mapping from Daela Cosmetic Tattoos. Other specialty experiences include holiday floral pop-ups, a stocking embroidery station for custom monogramming, a Market in the Alley Mini Market and an activation by Todo Bien at The Quad bar.

At the heart of Season of Splendor are partnerships with beloved local performing arts groups, kicking off with performances from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. Attendees can enjoy captivating performances by the Cherry Bombs, a dynamic dance group recognized worldwide from television series such as So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars and World of Dance. Known for their live shows at NBA halftime events and in the Awakening at the Wynn Las Vegas, the Cherry Bombs will bring holiday cheer through their passion for dance, with performances held at the top of each hour.

The holiday fun will continue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 with poetry readings by Beyond the Neon, including The Night Before Christmas at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; enchanting performances of The Nutcracker by Nevada Ballet Theatre at noon and 1 p.m. and songs from the Las Vegas Academy Choir at every half hour from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

“We are excited to share highlights from our beloved holiday tradition, The Nutcracker, with the UnCommons community,” said Nevada Ballet Theater Artistic Director Roy Kaiser. “As a creative space that fosters community and connection, we look forward to ushering in the holiday season with them as part of our shared appreciation for the arts.”

Additional holiday-themed performances will light up The Quad from 3 to 7 p.m. on the following weekends. On Saturday, Dec. 14, guests can enjoy captivating performances by the City of Las Vegas Live Arts Collective at the top of the hour starting at 4 p.m., while the sounds of the Las Vegas Academy Choir will fill UnCommons at every half hour from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21.
