The UNLV men’s basketball team will continue its two-game homestand when it hosts Air Force on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center.
 
The game will be part of Coaching for Literacy’s Fight for Literacy Games initiative, with UNLV coaches wearing green ties to help raise awareness about the issues connected to illiteracy.

The Runnin’ Rebels (12-11, 6-5) are coming off a loss to Fresno State on Saturday. Prior to that, they had won four of their previous five games at the Thomas & Mack Center. UNLV is led in scoring by senior guard Kris Clyburn’s 13.8 ppg.
 
Air Force (10-13, 5-6) won its last game, 81-76 against Wyoming on Saturday. It comes to Las Vegas having won three of its last five overall. The Falcons are led in scoring by Lavelle Scottie’s 14.8 ppg and Ryan Swan’s 12.0 ppg. Swan is the team’s leading rebounder (6.7 rpg).
 
Tuesday’s game will be televised on CBS Sports Network with Rich Waltz and Tim Doyle calling the action. Jon Sandler, former Runnin’ Rebel Robert Smith, and Steve Cofield (sideline reporter) will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live on ESPN Radio 1100 AM and online via the UNLV Gameday App and TuneIn (link at UNLVRebels.com).
