 The UNLV men’s basketball team will begin a two-game road trip when it plays at San José State on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m.
 
The Runnin’ Rebels (13-11, 7-5) are coming off a 77-72 win against Air Force on Tuesday night at the Thomas & Mack Center and have won two of their last three games overall. 
 
In the previous meeting this season between UNLV and the Spartans in Las Vegas on Jan. 19, the Runnin’ Rebels raced out to a 39-9 lead and cruised to a 94-56 victory. Four UNLV players scored in double figures in that game, led by freshman forward Joel Ntambwe’s 16 points.
 
UNLV is led in scoring this season by senior guard Kris Clyburn (13.5 ppg), sophomore guard Amauri Hardy (13.2 ppg) and Ntambwe (12.0 ppg). Sophomore forward Mbacke Diong is the team’s leading rebounder (6.5 rpg), while senior guard Noah Robotham leads the squad and is second in the MW in assists (5.0 apg). In just MW games, Robotham is the league leader (6.8 apg).
 
San José State (3-20, 0-11) has lost 14 straight games. The Spartans, who are led in scoring by Michael Steadman (12.9 ppg), are coming off a 92-60 loss at New Mexico on Wednesday.
 
Saturday’s game will be televised on AT&T SportsNet with Drew Goodman and Joe Cravens calling the action.
