Announces Rick Springfield’s Official 75th Birthday Bash
Hagar’s rock ‘n’ roll getaway welcomes Rick Springfield for island oasis birthday celebration ahead of his sold-out concert, with a chance for fans to win ticket giveaways to attend the show.

Get ready to party in true rock ‘n’ roll style as Sammy Hagar and Palms Casino Resort’s new poolside hotspot, Sammy’s Island, hosts the ultimate 75th birthday bash for rock icon, Rick Springfield. The sun-soaked celebration will be held starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, before a sold-out acoustic concert featuring Springfield and Richard Marx at the resort’s Pearl Theater that evening.
Fans are pumped to make a splash at Sammy’s Island, where the party vibe will be in full swing with Jessie’s Girl cocktails, made with Springfield’s and Hagar’s Puerto Rico-made Beach Bar Rum, a rockin’ party mix, and more. Guests aged 21+ who snag any Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum beverage will receive a raffle ticket for each purchase, giving them a shot at winning a ticket to the sold-out concert. The contest runs from 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with the lucky winner, who must be present to win, announced at 4 p.m. Plus, anyone named “Jessie” can score a free Jessie’s Girl Cocktail all day long.
Springfield himself will make an appearance at the party, where he will step behind the bar to showcase samples of his award-winning Beach Bar Rum. Following a birthday serenade led by the DJ, Springfield will be presented with a birthday cake.
The Tiki Bar and Tequileria will present a lineup of handcrafted cocktails featuring Hagar’s Santo Tequila, Sammy’s canned cocktails, and Red Rocker Brewing Co.’s Red Rocker Lager served up in icy buckets.
Sammy’s Island at Palms Pool, located at 4321 W. Flamingo Rd., is Las Vegas’ go-to spot for summer fun. Open daily from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., it welcomes hotel guests of all ages during the day, plus locals and non-hotel guests 21+.
