Have a picnic at the pitch as UNLV men’s soccer opens Western Athletic Conference play.
The Rebels (1-3-4) host Air Force (1-4-2) at Peter Johann Memorial Field Friday, Sept. 30, at 11:30 a.m.
The game will be streamed live on WACInternational.TV. Ben Wilson (play-by-play) and Philipp Weise (color analyst) will be on the call for the Rebels’ broadcast.
UNLV is unbeaten in its last three games and enters the match fresh off its longest uninterrupted training period of the season. The Rebels will be nine days removed from its last competition, a 2-2 draw at San Diego.
The Falcons stunned San Francisco in their last outing, winning 1-0 Sunday with a 74th-minute goal by Thaddeus Dewing. It was the Dons’ first loss after going unbeaten in their first eight games.
UNLV is 16-23-4 all-time versus Air Force. The Rebels fell to the Falcons, 3-1, last season. The since-graduated Tristan Trager scored two goals and claimed an assist on his way to the WAC’s single-season points record.
