Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower will count down to 2019 with decadent holiday menus and property-wide celebrations on Monday, Dec. 31.
The award-winning Top of the World restaurant, located on the 106th floor, will start the party early with a pre-firework seating from 4 to 8 p.m. that will include a New Year’s Eve a la carte menu, cash bar and party favors. Highlights from the menu include Maine Lobster and Filet Mignon Carpaccio with black garlic-caper vinaigrette and brioche toast, priced at $22; a 14-ounce Australian Wagyu Ribeye, priced at $79; Pan-Seared Alaskan Halibut with soba noodle and bok choy cashew raisin soy butter, priced at $56; and a chef’s choice of Maryland Crab Stuffed Chicken with Mary’s free range chicken, zucchini squash fritters and a natural jus, priced at $41. The restaurant will require a $100 food and beverage minimum, per person excluding tax and gratuity.
Top of the World’s fireworks seating will begin at 10 p.m. and will include a prix-fixe menu, glass of champagne with dinner, cash bar, party favors and spectacular views of the midnight fireworks show, starting at $299 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The dedicated New Year’s Eve menu includes a four-course dinner featuring chef’s specials such as lobster bisque, shrimp cocktail, Ora King Salmon, 10-ounce Harris Ranch Filet Mignon and a chocolate cherry dessert.
One floor above Top of the World, 107 SkyLounge, will host a celebration of its own from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. The lounge party will offer a two-hour open bar offering premium spirits from 10 p.m. until midnight, with a cash bar available until 4 a.m. Guests can nosh on a menu of shared social plates, while enjoying live entertainment from a DJ playing a mix of party hits, along with two-story views of the fireworks. Tickets start at $199 per person, plus tax and gratuity. VIP packages are available for purchase with guaranteed Strip-view seating. Premier packages start at $600 for two and include one bottle of Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut, two social plates, a two-hour open bar of premium spirits and party favors. A premier package for four includes two bottles of Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut, four social plates, a two-hour open bar of premium spirits and party favors, priced at $1,100, plus tax and gratuity.
The newly remodeled level 108 will host an Observation Deck party featuring an unlimited three-hour open bar with premium spirits, specialty drinks, martini luges, go-go dancers, DJs, a champagne toast at midnight, and of course stunning firework views. Several buffet-style food stations will be available, including a tower of shrimp displayed in a decorative ice sculpture; Mediterranean and salad stations; southwest offerings, Pacific Rim offerings, sweet treats and more traditional bites such as grilled vegetable penne pasta with a primavera aioli and mini Osso Bucco served with mushroom risotto. Tickets start at $250 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
Other celebrations throughout the casino include a seafood buffet at Crafted Buffet from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., priced at $32.99 plus tax and gratuity and live music at Sin City Hops from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
