New Downtown Hotel Toasts to 12 Newlywed Couples with Reception, Plush Accommodations and “Marriage Can Be Murder” Dinner Show
12-12-12 is one of the biggest wedding days of the year and to commemorate the rare occasion Vegas style, the D Las Vegas is partnering with KOMP 92.3 to treat 12 lucky couples to accommodations in newly upgraded rooms, a festive reception and complimentary tickets to comedy, murder-mystery dinner show Marriage Can Be Murder.
The new downtown property will serve as home base for the dozen couples partaking in KOMP’s Mass Wedding. Twelve brides and grooms along with their respective wedding parties will prepare for their big day in the D’s newly remodeled rooms before heading to Chapel of the Flowers – La Capella Chapel where their wedding ceremony will be officiated by KOMP Morning Show Host Andy Kaye. Co-hosts Craig Williams and Al Miller will serve as witnesses.
Following the nuptials, the newlyweds will ride in style back to the D for a reception in the Detroit Ballroom. The couples will join 10 of their closest friends and family members and celebrate their marriages with a DJ, champagne toast and cake-cutting ceremony.
Later in the evening the couples will enjoy a three-course meal, while trying to figure out whom among them is the murderer during the award-winning interactive comedy and murder-mystery dinner show, “Marriage Can Be Murder.”
The couples and their guests can continue the festivities throughout the night with cocktails, beer and frozen beverages inside the casino at LONGBAR – the longest bar in Nevada – or on Fremont Street at D Bar, where talented flair bartenders send bottles and glasses flying through the air. the D is conveniently located on Fremont Street Experience, with five blocks of neon partying action.
After a long day of celebration, the happy couples will retire to brand new contemporary accommodations inside the D’s new, spacious King Corner rooms where they will enjoy beautiful views of the valley, pillow-top mattresses, flat-screen TVs, and more.
