In support of early detection awareness, cast members from FANTASY and Menopause The Musical greeted patients and posed for photos, bringing attention to the fight against breast cancer. A few of the Menopause The Musical performers took advantage of the opportunity and had their own mammograms performed. The entertainers cheered each other on as they entered the van to receive their screenings.
Walk-ins were welcome throughout the day and guests received educational material about the life threatening disease. Any patient who entered the Mammovan was offered a complimentary audio –tour to BODIES…The Exhibition. To further spread prevention awareness, breast cancer awareness facts were on display inside the Exhibition, highlighting the importance of seeking preventive care.
