The UNLV women’s track & field program announced its 2025 indoor schedule on Monday. The announcement marks the first half of the season in its indoor meet schedule, the outdoor schedule to be announced at a later date.

The Rebels will kick off the season after the turn of the new year, first competing at the Lumberjack Team Challenge on January 17. The team will head to familiar territory at the meet, previously competing at Northern Arizona University last season. After, the program will round out the month of January with another one-day meet, traveling to Texas A&M in College Station, Texas for the Ted Nelson Invite.

The Scarlet & Gray will participate in two other meets before they enter the postseason, first heading north to Spokane, Wash., for the Riverfront Invite & Combined Events meet. That competition will stretch for three days (Feb. 6 – 8), hosted by The Podium. The Rebels found plenty of success the last indoor meet they competed at in Spokane, Kennedi Porter finishing top-three in two events and Grace Cunningham also reaching similar rankings in one event.

The team’s next two stops will take place in Albuquerque, N.M., the University of New Mexico hosting both the Don Kirby Elite Invitational and the Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships. The former will round out the regular season from Feb. 14 – 15, the latter opening up the postseason and stretching from Feb. 27 – March 1. The Rebels will look to build higher than last season’s performance, winning two individual Mountain West gold medals.

The Rebels will have a shot at continuing through the postseason if they qualify for the NCAA DI Women’s Track & Field Indoor Championships, the meet taking place on March 14 – 15. After earning an All-American relay during the 2023-24 outdoor season, UNLV will have their sights set to the Big Dance at Virginia Beach, Va.
