VOLLEYBALL ANNOUNCES 2024 MOUNTAIN WEST SCHEDULE

The UNLV volleyball team, coming off their sixth-consecutive postseason appearance in 2023, unveiled that the program will open their Mountain West (MW) schedule this fall facing the same opponent that they’ll end the regular season against.
Under the direction of second-year head coach Malia Shoji, the Scarlet & Gray will kick off the conference schedule on Thursday, Sept. 26 on the road against the New Mexico Lobos, followed by a stop at Air Force on Saturday, Sept. 28 before heading back home to Vegas.
UNLV will open its home slate of MW matches on Thursday, Oct. 3 against rival UNR, kicking off the first of two games in the 2024 Silver State Series, presented by America First Credit Union with that first serve time of 6:30 p.m. PT. They’ll split that weekend with another big home match against Utah State, taking on the Aggies on Saturday, Oct. 5 before taking the road once again.
The Rebels will match up against the defending Mountain West champions in Fresno State on Thursday, Oct. 10, looking to claim revenge on the Bulldogs for the 2023 matches. They’ll aim to continue their win streak against San Jose State with a visit to the west coast on Saturday, Oct. 12 in a 1 p.m. PT road match before returning home.
After opening the next week in Cox Pavilion against Wyoming, the Rebels will face off against Colorado State, rematching the Rams after dethroning them late last season on a thrilling five-set win. They’ll split the next two games with one away and one home, traveling west again to San Diego State on Tuesday, Oct. 22 before hosting Boise State on Saturday, Oct. 26.
UNLV will rematch Mountain West opponents for the remaining conference schedule, honing in on their Saturday, November 9 match against Fresno State at home in Cox Pavilion. It won’t be their final weekend at home though in the season, hosting Air Force and New Mexico to close the regular season right before Thanksgiving.
The Rebels will have more games on the 2024 schedule that have yet to be announced, aiming to host several nonconference opponents and participate in a handful of in-season tournaments. The rest of the regular season will be announced at a later date.
The Rebels will host the Mountain West Championship Tournament for the second season in a row in Cox Pavilion, kicking that tournament off on Wednesday, Nov. 27 looking for an automatic bid to the big dance. More information will be announced at a later date.
Season tickets for the 2024 home schedule, which are available to get now for as low as $40, can be purchased here. Season tickets for active alumni, faculty & staff as well as senior Rebels (62+) are available for purchase at that $40, regular season ticket pricing being marked at only $50. Single-game tickets will be available at a later date.
