The US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their NCAA DI All-America list on Monday, recognizing the UNLV track & field team on the list after a strong performance at the 2024 NCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships last weekend. The Rebels’ 4x100m relay earned All-America Honorable Mention honors, distributing one award each to each member of the relay.

The squad in the race consisted of Chinyere Okoro, Kennedi Porter, AnnaKay Maitland and Shakeira Bowra, finishing 20th overall in the event on a 44.09 final time in Eugene, Ore. The Scarlet & Gray moved up the ranks with their performance at the big dance, entering the meet with the 24th fastest time in the event.

The relay squad marks the UNLV history books as the second-consecutive year the Rebels have earned All-America honors, Rosa Santana doing it in the women’s shot put for a First Team accolade. The 2024 season also was noted for the program as the second-straight year they’ve been invited to the national championships during the outdoor season.
