 Borracha Mexican Cantina and Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca, both located at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, are brewing up the perfect elixirs for the spooky season. In honor of Halloween and Day of the Dead, both restaurants will feature specialty cocktails in October, plus Bottiglia will host a family-friendly kids’ brunch on Saturday, Oct. 28. 

Amid the captivating Day of the Dead-themed atmosphere at Borracha, guests are invited to revel in the hauntingly alluring ambiance and indulge in the “Midnight Margarita,” available from Friday, Oct. 20 to Sunday, Nov. 5. This bewitching concoction, crafted with Volcan XA tequila, lime juice, triple sec, ancho chile, and activated charcoal, arrives with a hauntingly delicious chamoy drizzle down the side of the glass, priced at $19. 

While enjoying their spooky sip, guests can partake in Borracha’s regular menu, which features a selection of traditional tacos made with a variety of proteins such as achiote-marinated chicken, braised short rib, grilled mahi mahi or chili-lime shrimp, priced starting at $17. Guests will also enjoy the slow roasted pork carnitas, served with guacamole, green tomatillo sauce and soft corn tortillas, priced at $24; as well as the swordfish Veracruz, featured grilled line-caught Pacific swordfish, served in a Veracruz sauce with Mexican red rice and caramelized lime, priced at $29. 

 

Bottiglia, a vibrant restaurant serving sophisticated rustic Italian fare, is embracing the season with an Italian twist by featuring a pumpkin espresso martini, made with Absolut Elyx vodka, espresso, Kahlua, and pumpkin cream, priced at $18 and available through the month of October. Additionally, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, $1 from every pumpkin espresso martini sold throughout October will be donated to breast cancer research and awareness. 

 

Guests are invited to explore Bottiglia’s diverse menu to complement their cocktails, including mushroom truffle tagliatelle, crafted with mixed mushroom and truffle pâté cream sauce topped with burrata and chives, priced at $29; or lamb chops served with a mint yogurt, arugula and parsley verde, priced at $56. 

 

Bottiglia will also hold a trick or treat kids’ brunch as a fun event for the whole family on Saturday, Oct. 28. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bottiglia will offer pumpkin decorating, face painting and candy as well as a brunch dish for all children 12 years old or under, including the option of French toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs or a cheeseburger, priced at $19 per child. Bottiglia’s full brunch menu includes selections such as lobster benedict, featuring butter-poached lobster with parmesan creamed spinach and spiced hollandaise, priced at $36; French toast topped with fresh strawberries and maple syrup, priced at $17; and more.
