The UNLV baseball team has officially rescheduled their Saturday afternoon Mountain West contest against San Jose St. The game will be moved to Sunday morning on March 3 with a start time of 10:30 a.m. PT, followed by their originally-scheduled game to make a Sunday doubleheader.

The teams agreed to move the game based on the High-Wind Warning that the National Weather Service issued, in effect for the entirety of the day on Saturday, March 2 (at the time of this release).

The Rebels faced off against San Jose St. in game one on Friday, claiming the win in their first Mountain West match this season. The team produced the most efficient inning in program history, breaking the UNLV record for most runs in a single inning with 16 in the bottom of the first. The Scarlet & Gray would eventually win the game on a final score of 23-5.
