Join PT’s Taverns, Heineken and the Southern Nevada Conservancy to ‘Paint the Mountain Green’ this May

This May, PT’s Taverns around Las Vegas will donate 50 cents from every Heineken and Heineken Silver pint or bottle sold to the Southern Nevada Conservancy, a nonprofit organization devoted to protecting Nevada’s public lands and enhancing visitors’ experience through educational programs, tours and conservation efforts.

The Conservancy began working with Heineken USA and local businesses in 2018 to launch the “Green the Mountain” project, which purchased and assembled trash receptacles and waste stations around the busiest trailheads in the Spring Mountains. Similar efforts continue today, with local businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers collaborating each year to maintain Nevada’s beautiful public land through environmental cleanup campaigns.

PT’s Taverns, the largest traditional tavern operator in the state of Nevada, has participated in the Spring Mountains program for seven years, contributing roughly $20-25k throughout the time period, with an additional $10k donation from Heineken. This year, PT’s is once again teaming up with Heineken and the Southern Nevada Conservancy to keep the mountains clean with the “Paint the Mountain Green” fundraiser in May. Patrons will also have a chance to win their own Heineken-branded mini fridge with a purchase of a Heineken or Heineken Silver bottle or draft, limit one winner per PT’s location.

In addition to award-winning happy hours and popular menu items that keep guests coming back for more, PT’s “Paint the Mountain Green” fundraiser gives Nevada residents another reason to visit their favorite tavern this May.
