PREMIER EXHIBITIONS, INC. TRAVELING DISPLAY, JEWELS OF TITANIC, CONCLUDES THREE-CITY TOUR IN LAS VEGAS ON JULY 21

Last Chance to Catch a Glimpse of Titanic’s Priceless Jewels In One Collection

Premier Exhibitions, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRXI) a leading presenter of museum-quality touring exhibitions around the world, announced today that after embarking on a three-city tour, Jewels of Titanic will end its journey at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Luxor Hotel and Casino on July 21, 2013. Featuring diamonds, sapphires, pearls and gold, the 15 priceless artifacts recovered from the wreck site of Titanic will likely never be seen again as a complete collection. The jewels will be removed from the temporary gallery in Las Vegas and redistributed among various Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition displays in museums and exhibits around the world. The complete exhibition of more than 250 artifacts will remain open at the Luxor Hotel and Casino.

Viewed by thousands of visitors across the nation, Jewels of Titanic began its journey in Atlanta, GA in late 2012 and continued on to Orlando, FL in early 2013 before reaching its final destination in Las Vegas, NV. This one-of-a-kind experience has brought together the most dazzling artifacts recovered from the wreck site, fascinating visitors with the history behind each piece, their intricacies and delicate designs and the story behind their discovery.

“Since we began touring Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition 18 years ago, visitors have been fascinated by the jewelry recovered from the wreck site. Jewels of Titanic was the first time we brought this collection of artifacts together for the public and we were able to share their amazing story of discovery and the history behind the coveted Jewels of Titanic,” said Alexandra Klingelhofer, vice president of collections for RMS Titanic, Inc. and Premier Exhibitions, Inc. “Thousands of exhibition-goers have marveled at this unique collection and it was a joy to bring these incredible pieces of jewelry together for this unprecedented tour.”

The Jewels of Titanic tour launched as an initiative during the Centennial commemoration of the sinking of Titanic as a unique way to honor the legacy of the great ocean liner and her ill-fated passengers. Many of the artifacts featured in Jewels of Titanic were found together in a leather Gladstone bag lying at the bottom of the ocean, and after undergoing conservation they were separated amongst the traveling Exhibitions. Jewels of Titanic marks the first time the pieces have been seen by the public as a complete collection.
