in Support of Law Enforcement and First Responders

Community event, in partnership with AAPI Chamber, to feature
law enforcement vehicles, interactive demos, trick-or-treating and more

UnCommons, Southwest Las Vegas’ vibrant 40-acre urban campus across from the new Durango Casino & Resort, in partnership with AAPI Chamber, will host “Family Night Out” on Thursday, Oct. 24. Starting at 5 p.m., the event will bring the Las Vegas community together to celebrate local law enforcement, first responders and the partnerships that help create safer, more connected neighborhoods.

Family Night Out will feature a range of activities designed to engage both children and adults, including opportunities to interact with local law enforcement and first responders, Halloween trick-or-treating stations, resources to take home, and more. Law enforcement vehicles, including Metro police cars and motorcycles, firetrucks and an ambulance, will be on display for kids and families to explore. Kids can also enjoy interactive simulators, offering a hands-on experience with some of the tools used by police officers in the line of duty.

In addition to the interactive experiences, the event will feature a series of stage presentations, including special proclamations and certifications honoring Officers Ike and Mike from the Spring Valley Command for their outstanding service. Assemblyman Duy Nguyen will also announce the winners of a community-wide art contest, highlighting the creative contributions of local artists.

Throughout the event, families can enjoy delicious bites from local food trucks, including I Love Cotton Candy and Custom Pizza Truck, along with UnCommons’ selection of world-class restaurants such as AMARI Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop, All’Antico Vinaio and more, with Salt & Straw offering buy-one-get-one vouchers for their locally-crafted ice cream.
