PIERO’S ITALIAN CUISINE OFFERS FIRST RESPONDERS AND TEACHERS A DELICIOUS DINING DEAL TO CELEBRATE THE REOPENING OF THE LEGENDARY LAS VEGAS RESTAURANT
The Las Vegas restaurant offers 25 percent off dinner for
community heroes who have made an impact during the COVID-19 pandemic
To commemorate reopening for dinner service, Piero’s Italian Cuisine is giving first responders and teachers 25 percent off their check now through December 31, 2020. This is to say thank you for all the hard work these essential workers have put in during the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Those “community heroes” eligible for the 25 percent off include: doctors, police officers, nurses, EMTs, grocery store employees, truck drivers, teachers, and postal/delivery drivers.
“We hope this dining incentive will give all those who have worked on the front lines of public health and safety a chance to reconnect with friends and family over a beautiful meal,” said Evan Glusman, Piero’s managing partner. “As we open our doors for dinner service, we are honoring those who have taken care of the sick, educated our children and provided the essential services we depend on day in and day out.”
Chef Chris Conlon unveiled a revamped menu, focusing on longtime favorites and nightly specials.
Piero’s rolled out its new cleanliness and operational protocols that meet or exceed industry standards. The guidelines, which incorporate guidance from national, state and local governments, ensure the restaurant is taking the appropriate steps to minimize risk and enhance safety for all team members and visitors. All staff have undergone extensive COVID-19 mitigation training.
Throughout the pandemic, Piero’s has opened its kitchen to prepare thousands of meals for frontline workers through the UnCommon Heroes program.
Since 1982, Piero’s Italian Cuisine has been the meeting place for Las Vegas’ high-powered decision makers, from casino top executives and infamous mobsters to politicians, Hollywood celebrities and sports stars.
The notable hotspot is known for its signature menu, a wine cellar that boasts more than 1,900 wines with 10,000 bottles, along with the expansive menu of signature cocktails, martinis and stiff pours that keep locals and celebrities coming back for more. But it’s the lore of days gone by that still fills the imagination of anyone who enters the restaurant’s supper-club atmosphere. For those who have never been to Piero’s, ask about the back staircase where Sharon Stone’s character takes a fall in the quintessential Vegas mob film, Casino.
Piero’s is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended. Book through Opentable by calling 702.369.2305 or visiting [email protected].
