“Terry Bradshaw: America’s Favorite Dumb Blonde…A Life in Four Quarters,” premiered at the Terry Fator Theatre at The Mirage Hotel & Casino on Friday night.
Anticipation was running high as guests eagerly awaited Bradshaw’s Las Vegas debut. The premiere was a star-studded affair, with many of Bradshaw’s football comrades in attendance including Jimmy Johnson, Howie Long and Troy Aikman. Terry Fator and wife, Taylor Makakoa, were also spotted in the audience.
“I’m coming tonight for one reason – to heckle him,” Johnson said, jokingly. “I’m just kidding, I think he’ll be great and I’m happy to be here tonight.”
Bradshaw entertained the excited crowd with a charismatic production of singing, dancing, comedy and storytelling. Produced and directed by Anita Mann, and co-written by Jon Macks, the show included stories of Bradshaw’s childhood in Louisiana, the journey behind his four Super Bowl rings and his stint as a toupee model. Alongside a group of talented singers and musicians, Bradshaw performed original songs including “Goin’ Deep” and “Humble Beginnings,” as well as a heartwarming duet with his daughter, Rachel Bradshaw, entitled “Everything a Daddy Won’t Say.” Hilarious video clips from friends Bradley Cooper, Michael Strahan, Jay Leno and more, greeted Bradshaw on stage with “words of encouragement.”
After the show, Howie Long expressed his reaction to the show.”I loved it,” Long said. “I laughed, I cried…”
