Photos: New York-New York St. Baldrick’s Event Raises $53,000 for Childhood Cancer Research

On Saturday, March 2, courageous people across Las Vegas made a bold move in the fight against cancer by shaving their heads for New York-New York Hotel & Casino’s fourth annual St. Baldrick’s Day event. With the support of the community, New York-New York and Nine Fine Irishmen were able to raise $53,000 to fund childhood cancer research for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Guests enjoyed a heartfelt and fun-filled day on the Brooklyn Bridge with family-friendly activities like face painting, raffles and live performances by bands like the Spazmatics. The excitement continued late into the night with local entertainers including the Jersey Boys, Rock of Ages cast, members of Dancing Queen/Broadway Celebration, Angel Porrino of Absinthe and more lending their support for the cause by volunteering as celebrity head shavers.
