Blue Man Group, the international entertainment phenomenon, helped kick off the Los Angeles Dodgers season with the ultimate pre-game pep rally during opening day on Monday, April 1. The famous performers were chosen to join the team in honor of their season theme, “A Whole New Blue.” The blue trio started the festivities in the newly renovated stadium with a high-energy performance joined by alternative rock artist Tracy Bonham. The gig featured powerful vocals by Bonham, a special performance of Blue Man Group’s original piece “Time To Start” that included suggested fan movements and signature Blue Man Group pizzazz including catchy rhythmic beats and giant white streamers that flowed at center field. The game started and ended on a high note with the Los Angeles Dodgers beating the San Francisco Giants 4-0.
