Bank of America Announces $200,000 Grant for Spread the Word Nevada
Yesterday evening at The Smith Center, Bank of America announced the recipient of its $200,000 Neighborhood Builders grant, local youth literacy nonprofit Spread the Word Nevada. Spread the Word Nevada will utilize its $200,000 Neighborhood Builders grant to extend its school year reading program into the summer months and expand its literacy offerings into new schools.
At the event, Bank of America also announced more than $2 million in financial support for more than 75 Southern Nevada community partners.
