Hip-hop recording artist Rick Ross hosted a New Year’s Eve weekend party inside Vanity Nightclub at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on Sunday, Dec. 29. The rapper jumped on stage to perform “The Devil is a Lie,” “No Games,” “Pop That,” and more before heading to his table, where he enjoyed Luc Belaire Rosé champagne and Cîroc cocktails with friends throughout the night.
On Monday, Dec. 30, Las Vegas’ very own Imagine Dragons spent the day on property as band members Dan Reynolds, Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman and Wayne Sermon unveiled their memorabilia display inside the hotel. After the case presentation, the group posed for photos with fans that came out to support the hometown heroes. Later that night, Imagine Dragons took over The Joint for a sold-out show where they performed some of their biggest hits including “Radioactive,” “Demons” and “It’s Time.” In true Las Vegas fashion, more than 20 Elvis impersonators joined the band as they sang “On Top of the World.” During the concert, Reynolds took the microphone to thank fans saying, “I never thought I’d be able to play two sold-out shows at The Joint. Imagine Dragons’ music wouldn’t be possible without you.” He added, “I can’t tell you how good it feels to be back in Las Vegas. This is our home.” Spotted in the crowd was ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” cast members Derek Hough and Mark Ballas as well as singer and songwriter BC Jean.
After the show, concertgoers headed over to Body English Nightclub & Afterhours to dance the night away during an exclusive DJ set by Reynolds.
