PENN & TELLER “REUNITE” WITH A MADAME TUSSAUDS WAX FIGURE
OF POP ART ICON ANDY WARHOL AT POLAROID MUSEUM OPENING
On Thursday, April 24, comedic magicians Penn & Teller posed with a Madame Tussauds wax figure of Andy Warhol during the grand opening of the Polaroid Museum at The LINQ. The figure is on loan from Madame Tussauds to support the Warhol exhibition, “Capturing Celebrity,” on view at the Polaroid Museum.
In the 1980s, Warhol took numerous photographs of Penn & Teller and appeared their film, “Invisible Thread.” About the Madame Tussauds Warhol figure Penn said, “Andy would have loved it.”
