I LOVE THE 90’S at SOAK Pool and Ja Rule & Ashanti at The Pearl Theater

Widely considered the unofficial kickoff to summer, Memorial Day Weekend at Palms Casino Resort promises to be an epic celebration with a pair of concerts, food specials, and more.

The fun begins on Friday, May 26 when I LOVE THE 90’S makes a splash at SOAK Pool at Palms. Featuring top artists of the decade, I LOVE THE 90’S is a concert and poolside dance party with performances by legendary musical icons such as Vanilla Ice, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Treach of Naughty by Nature, and Color Me Bad. Can you say, “Ice Ice Baby” and “Bust a Move”? With enough space to do the Running Man or all the popular 90’s dance moves, SOAK Pool is the perfect place to let loose and dance the night away. The party and celebration continue Sunday, May 28 when long-time collaborators Ja Rule and Ashanti take the stage at The Pearl Theater at Palms. Ja Rule is an American rapper, songwriter, singer, record producer, and actor. Ja Rule has been nominated for two American Music Awards and four Grammy Awards with respective collaborators Lil’ Mo, Vita, Ashanti, and Case. Grammy-award winner Ashanti is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, and actress. She has also won eight Billboard awards along with two American Music Awards. After the concert Sunday night, enjoy the unofficial Ja Rule & Ashanti After Party at the iconic Ghostbar. Perched high atop the 55th floor, Ghostbar features the most spectacular and stunning views of the entire Las Vegas skyline. Serrano Vista Café is serving up a Memorial Day Weekend special featuring a half or full rack of Baby Back Pork Ribs with cole slaw, cornbread, and barbecue sauce for $22 or $31 respectively. Also, top the meal off with a patriotic Peach Cobbler for $10.
