Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation (OCCF) will hold its 24th annual Governor’s Black Tie charity event April 17 – 20, 2024. Supported by the Governor of Nevada since its inception, the Governor’s Black Tie continues to be the premier fundraising event in the state raising much-needed funds for eight local charities. The four-day celebration and invitational golf tournament kicks off Wednesday, April 17 and really gets going on Thursday, April 18 with the Grand Bash highlighted by an exclusive concert from country music icons Midland and Joe Nichols, a spirited live auction, and a strolling dinner featuring culinary creations from M Resort Spa & Casino. The multi-day event continues with the two-day invitational golf tournament and a formal black-tie reception and plated dinner at Southern Highlands Golf Club that concludes with an impressive ten-minute firework display. On Saturday, the final day of tournament play, Nevada’s First Lady Donna Lombardo hosts the First Lady’s Luncheon event with shopping pop-ups presented by a variety of retailers from The Forum Shops at Caesars and The Shops at Crystals.

Garry Goett, founder of Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation and CEO of Olympia Companies, says, “Twenty-four years ago, we embarked on a mission to enhance the well-being of women, children, military personnel, and families facing hardship in Southern Nevada. Upholding our commitment to organizations that share our vision remains paramount at Olympia. The Governor’s Black Tie serves as a platform to champion this cause, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to our charity collaborators, Governor Lombardo, our valued sponsors, and the attendees of this year’s event for their unwavering support. We know this year’s event will be among the best yet.”

The Governors Black Tie supports eight local charities including Assistance League of Las Vegas, Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada, Candlelighters, Children’s Heart Foundation, DISCOVERY Children’s Museum, Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, Andson, and Opportunity Village.
