This milestone event will highlight a curated selection of premium Japanese sakes paired with innovative seafood dishes, reflecting the restaurant’s unwavering dedication to bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and unpretentious hospitality.
Founded in 2015 by Chef Dan Krohmer, Other Mama has become a beloved culinary institution, known for its Japanese-inspired seafood, craft cocktails, and warm neighborhood charm. Spring Sake Release Dinner – April 1, 2025
Guests will enjoy a multi-course pairing experience, featuring an exquisite selection of rare and seasonal sakes from Japan, each complemented by a meticulously crafted dish.

COURSE 1 – Imayo Tsukasa Ima (Junmai, Niigata)
Tasting Notes: Refreshingly acidic with apple, floral, and mineral notes.
Pairing: OYSTER TRIO – Apple mignonette, tarragon salsa verde, yuzu kosho.
COURSE 2 – Seikyo, Omachi Namazaki (Nama Junmai Ginjo, Hiroshima)
Tasting Notes: Herbal and grassy, delicate finish.
Pairing: YOUNG YELLOWTAIL SASHIMI – Aged soy, fresh wasabi.
COURSE 3 – Heiwa Shuzou Kid “Natsu no Shippu” (Junmai Ginjo, Wakayama)
