Olympic Gymnast Nastia Liukin Visits
The Venetian Las Vegas

Olympic Gymnast Nastia Liukin visited The Venetian Las Vegas Monday, Jan. 8, when she experienced several of the property’s world-class offerings with her fiancé Matt Lombardi and friend Amanda Keenan. Liukin, who was in Las Vegas to speak at a CES conference, “The Future of Fan Engagement,” enjoyed dinner at Chica, craft cocktails at Rosina, and took photos at The Palazzo’s LOVE art installation.

While at Chica, she and her guests feasted on octopus, ceviche, a trio of salsas and churro ice cream pops before heading to Rosina, The Palazzo’s newest cocktail bar, where she sipped on a French 75. No visit to the acclaimed property is complete without a photo at LOVE on display at The Palazzo’s Waterfall Atrium, where she and Lombardi took the opportunity to capture some romantic images.

An accomplished gymnast since a young age, Nastia Liukin has won more than 25 medals in various events including winning the gold medal in the women’s all-around at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, having been only the third American woman to do so. Having retired from the sport in 2012, Liukin has dedicated her time to various community efforts including helping aspiring gymnasts to be mentored by their biggest idols with the app, Grander, which Liukin cofounded.
