CELEBRATE NEW YEAR’S EVE AT SOUTH POINT WITH SPECIALTY DINING OPTIONS, DEC. 31

 South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa will be ringing in 2023 with delicious, celebratory dining options and guests can enjoy specialty menus from customer favorites, Garden Buffet, Don Vito’s, Silverado Steakhouse and Primarily Prime Rib. Garden Buffet will serve a brunch from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. for $23.95 per person for Club members or $26.95 per person for nonmembers, including:

  • Bottomless Bloody Mary’s and mimosas for guests 21+
  • Eggs cooked to order, eggs benedict, lox and bagels, build your own omelet station, lox and bagels, steak and eggs, golden French toast and pancakes, cheese blintz’s, live action salad bar with freshly tossed salads, seasonal fruits and berries with yogurt, peel and eat shrimp, hot and sour Chinese soup, Louisiana gumbo, roast prime rib or beef, BBQ glazed pork loin, lemon and herb rotisserie chicken, honey smoked baby back ribs, veal fricassee, southern fried chicken, Chinese black pepper beef, seared salmon with Cajun cream, new year black eyed peas and collard greens
  • 12 flavor gelato and sorbet bar, macadamia white chocolate bread pudding, French pasties, doughnuts, cakes and pies
  • Live international cooking stations

 

Garden Buffet will serve a seafood dinner from 3 – 10 p.m. for $43.95 per person for Club members or $47.95 per person for nonmembers, including:

  • Unlimited champagne, beer, sangria or wine for guests 21+
  • Chilled snow and Dungeness crab legs, oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, peel and eat shrimp, sushi and California rolls, roast prime rib of Nebraska beef, salmon wellington, crown royal maple glazed pacific salmon, rosemary and thyme rotisserie chicken, surf and turf: tenderloin medallions and shrimp scampi, crepe suzette, Garden Fresh Action Salad Bar with the seasons finest tossed and house made salads, seafood pepper pot, Louisiana seafood gumbo, cioppino, shrimp alfredo, carne Asada, steamed clams and oysters, linguini and clams, chicken Angelo, golden fried shrimp, beef stroganoff, roast duck with grand Marnier sauce,  Asian live cooking to order, lucky black eyed peas and seafood paella.
  • 12 flavor gelato and sorbet bar, white chocolate and raspberry bread pudding, Scottish shortbread with whiskey cream, gateau’s & pastries.
  • Live international cooking stations

 

Don Vito’s will serve a three-course meal from 4 – 11 p.m. for $57 per person, including:

  • Guests 21+ can choose between a bottle of, Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma or Rodney Strong Chardonnay, California the wines of the month for every two people.
  • First course: Osso Buco Ravioli, house made chianti braised veal in pasta pouches with mushroom alfredo cream or The Dons Chopped Antipasto Salad, on romaine leaves, drizzled with golden balsamic vinaigrette or Roasted Brussels Sprouts, with crispy serrano ham, gorgonzola cheese, roasted pecans and sherry drizzle or Mediterranean Seafood Pepper Pot, shrimp, scallops and calamari in a spiced cioppino broth with leeks diced peppers or Burrata, Pear and Prosciutto, poached pear filled with creamy burrata cheese draped with prosciutto, bibb lettuce, drizzled with olive oil and sea salt.
  • Second course: Chicken Copa, the classic dish of sauteed chicken breast, sliced with prosciutto, provolone and mushroom marinara or Seafood Pescatora, shrimp and lobster medallions along with seabass sauteed with garlic, tomatoes and bell peppers folded in linguine with a lightly spiced white wine broth or Tournedos of Beef, sauteed with wild mushrooms, crowned with prosciutto and melted mozzarella cheese and raspberry demi or Broiled Bone-In Ribeye, 16 oz. aged rib chop with mushrooms and caramelized onions or Veal Francoise with Scampi Provencal, veal scallopini with lemon beurre Blanc and scampi sauteed with basil and fresh tomatoes.
  • All second courses are served with broccolini and farfalle pasta in pomodoro sauce or Sicilian potatoes
  • Third course: Raspberry Decadence, Nutella brownie with raspberry and white chocolate mousse, fresh raspberries and Chambord sauce or Oven Fresh Apple Torta, served with limoncello gelato or Grand Marnier Cheesecake, with seasonal berries and whipped cream or Vito’s Bundino, chocolate and butterscotch Italian custards with almond cookies or tea or coffee

Silverado Steakhouse will serve a four-course meal from 4 – 11 p.m. for $74 per person, including:

  • Guests 21+ can choose between a bottle of, Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma or Rodney Strong Chardonnay, California the wines of the month for every two people.
  • First course: Pork N’ Bella’s, portabella mushrooms filled with seasoned ground pork, boursin cheese and spinach, on a port wine reduction or Seafood Celebrations, grilled shrimp on crostini, lump crab taco and lobster bisque or Ratatouille Au Gratin, zucchini, squash and peppers simmered with tomatoes and glazed with parmesan cheese crust or Chilled Shrimp Cocktail, with cocktail & Louise Rose sauces
  • Second course: Wild Mushroom Bisque en Croute or Arugula and Butter Leaf Salad, tender lettuces tossed in mild Caesars dressing, teardrop tomatoes, shaved parmesan cheese and black garlic crouton or chilled asparagus and calamari tomato salad with golden balsamic vinaigrette
  • Third course: Surf and Turf, 6 oz. broiled filet of beef with two lightly breaded grilled shrimp, merlot demi, and lemon butter sauce or Filet of Dover Sole Rios, filets of Dover Sole wrapped around gulf shrimp, oven baked and coated with lobster cream sauce with asparagus tips and shiitake mushrooms or Long Island Duck Breast, pan seared, sliced boneless duck breast served with Chambord sauce or Broiled Veal Chop, 14 oz. butterflied chop, topped with prosciutto and melted gruyere cheese with mushroom demi or Broiled Filet Mignon, 8 oz. beef tenderloin with bearnaise or Blacked Rib Eye, 12 oz. dry-aged beef chipotle spiced and pan seared, served with BBQ and plumb sauces, topped with sauteed mushrooms

Primarily Prime Rib will serve a three-course meal from 4 – 10 p.m. for $47 per person, including:

  • First course: Lobster and Crab Duo, lobster bisque with Cajun crab cake or Shrimp Cocktail, horseradish cocktail sauce or Smokehouse Prime Rib Sliders, smoked prime rib, caramelized onions and Swiss cheese with barbeque sauce in sweet Hawaiian rolls and pickle chips or Little Gem Caesar Salad, baby romaine lettuce hearts with grape tomatoes, garlic croutons, shredded parmesan cheese, topped with Caesar dressing
  • Second course: Prime Roast Rib of Beef, 10 oz cut, dry aged and slowly cooked for full flavor or Crispy Skin Branzino, pan seared fresh filet branzino served over cannellini beans, tomatoes and spinach with saffron and chianti broth or Surf and Turf, 4 oz. medallion of beef with cabernet reduction and 2 golden fried tempura shrimp with wasabi dipping cream or Broiled New York Steak, 12 oz. steak with sauteed mushroom caps and garlic butter or Coq Au Vin, chicken breasts marinated in red wine, sautéed with mushrooms, bacon strips and butter onions, deglazed with cabernet sauvignon and demi glaze
