NOW PLAYING: FRESH PRODUCE
Entertainment Venue at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall Transformed to Farmers’ Market Every Thursday
Sam’s Town Live!, located inside Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall, is home to a new, indoor weekly farmers’ market – every Thursday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Several farmers and vendors will offer a variety of products, including seasonal fruits and vegetables, herbs, breads and other items. Market attendees can anticipate something different every week, as farmers’ selections vary seasonally.
Though likely to rotate weekly, vendors include: Pahrump Honey Company (honey products including flavored honey sticks and honey combs); Vegas Valley Organics (offering a CSA program – community supported agriculture – and fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts and olive oil); Two Lazy Sisters (from Overton, Nev. – fresh vegetables, jams and bread); Crossfire Ranch (from Sandy Valley, Nev. – fresh herbs and vegetables); and Mrs. H. Produce (from the Fresno, Calif. area – seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs and raisins).
Two additional Las Vegas-based merchants include Sassy Salsas (fresh salsa made with farmers’ market produce) and Crave Balance Bars (raw, vegan, gluten-free snack bars). A bread baker (corn, zucchini, lemon, short and walnut breads), a fresh lemonade stand, a clean air product maker and the well-known home delivery service, Winder Farms, are among the vendors regularly expected at the Market.
In addition to being open to the public, area restaurants may also place orders in advance with individual vendors for pick up on the day of the Market.
Admission is free. All vendors will accept cash and some may accept credit cards. For further information, visit www.samstownlv.com.
