NEW YORK-NEW YORK HOTEL & CASINO CELEBRATES ST. PATRICK’S DAY WITH CELTIC FEIS, MARCH 15
New York-New York Hotel & Casino celebrated the luck of the Irish at its annual Celtic Feis festival on March 15. The all-day event was the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration on the Las Vegas Strip and commenced with a lively parade throughout the hotel featuring a traditional Irish pipe band; live music from multiple bands and DJs; and traditional Irish fare from Nine Fine Irishmen.
Following the lively procession, the green-clad crowd was greeted with a traditional toast to kick off the Celtic Feis event.
“We love that Celtic Feis has continued to be a St. Patrick’s Day tradition for locals and visiting guests alike and we’re so proud of the event we delivered this year,” said Mike Neubecker, President & COO of New York-New York & MGM Grand.
Festivalgoers gathered on the Brooklyn Bridge to watch musical performances from several local bands including Sin E Ri Ra, Celtic Rockers, Sticky Wicket Duo and more. Entertainment throughout the day included stilt walkers and leprechauns greeting guests.
A selection of Irish fare from Nine Fine Irishmen also was served throughout the day with a menu featuring beer n’ cheese dip, shepherd’s pie, Irish bangers, corned beef and cabbage and more. 
The celebration will continued Sunday, March 16 with New York-New York’s 16th annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation event, where guests of all ages enjoyed a fun day on the hotel’s iconic Brooklyn Bridge with live entertainment and celebrity guest head-shavers, as participants shed their hair to support St. Baldrick’s. For over a decade, New York-New York has rallied the local community resulting in millions of dollars raised for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
