NEON CITY FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES CULINARY OFFERINGS FOR INAUGURAL EVENT, NOV. 22-24 

Festivalgoers Can Visit Taco Trucks, Omaha Steaks Pop-Up, Empanada Carts and Sushi Stands During Free for All Ages Event in Downtown Las Vegas 

Neon City Festival  the free for all ages music, arts and culinary event coming to Downtown Las Vegas Nov. 22-24 – has announced its array of food offerings for the weekend. Guests can discover a diverse lineup of local vendors ranging from taco trucks to empanada carts, sushi stands and an Omaha Steaks pop-up while enjoying live performances, immersive art installations and more.

“Las Vegas has become a culinary destination in its own right, and were thrilled to partner with a variety of diverse restaurants, food trucks and other offerings for Neon City Festival, said Jeff Victor, CEO of Neon City Festival. “This event is a celebration of the local community, so its only fitting for Las Vegas-based concepts to be a part of this incredible weekend.

Fremont Street Experience

  • Heres the Beef: Melt-in-your-mouth American Wagyu sliders, stacked on toasted buns, paired with loaded fries to satisfy your taste buds.
  • Medellin Empanadas: Bringing the authentic flavors of Colombia to each bite, Medellin will offer its empanadas, arepas with cheese, chorizo with arepa and the Colombian classic meal.
  • Super Chill: For a frozen treat, Super Chill’s menu includes photo-worthy specialty sundaes, heat-pressed donut ice cream sandwiches and healthy real fruit smoothies, with vegan and gluten-free options available.
  • Taco Ave: Known for its traditional Mexican staples, Taco Ave will serve up tacos, quesabirria, burritos, quesadillas and combo plates.
  • Truk n Yaki: A fusion of Japanese and American flavors, Truk n Yaki will have hibachi dishes and flavorful fried rice. Guests can also indulge in Japanese burritos, featuring choices of ribeye, shrimp or chicken, wrapped in a flour tortilla and topped with house-made spicy aioli.

Downtown Las Vegas Events Center

  • Omaha Steaks Pop-Up: Feast on an exclusive all-you-can-eat tasting provided by Omaha Steaks. Highlights include whiskey-grilled steak, filet mignon burgers, shrimp ceviche, crab cakes, and a tomahawk carving station. This VIP tasting is available for $100 per day.
  • Chī Asian Kitchen: Taken from the Chinese word “eat, ChĪ offers a variety of Asian flavors like dim sum dumplings, bao buns and char siu bbq pork.
  • Custom Pizza Truck: A wood-fired pizza truck that has been heating up Las Vegas since 2020, Custom Pizza Truck offers made-to-order pizzas with a crispy crust.
  • El Fuego Picante: The family-owned El Fuego Picante will dish out tacos, burritos, nachos, asada fries and bowls, offering a taste of YourMexicanFiestaFix.
  • Empanada Factory: Empanada Factory serves up authentic Latin empanadas in a range of flavors, from savory meat and vegetarian options to sweet treats and beyond.
  • Joels Chophouse: This booth will bring Vegas celebrity Chef Joel Ott’s newest restaurant to the festival grounds with bbq pork belly sliders, mac & cheese bites and short rib poutine.
  • Ole Mannys Seafood Shack: A coastal-themed food truck known for its lobster rolls, shrimp boils and crispy fish chips, the shack serves up classic favorites alongside Cajun-inspired specialties.
  • SoCal Churro: This churro cart is full of festival classics and nostalgic treats such as SoCal’s cinnamon sugar churros, soft baked pretzels and cheese cups.
  • Sushito Sushi & Poke Bowl: This vibrant food truck will make its Neon City Festival stop with sushi burritos, sushi tacos and poke bowls, blending the art of sushi with the convenience of street food.
  • Valerys Great Food: Boasting a variety of Mexican, American and Argentine dishes, Valery’s Great Food uses locally sourced ingredients with a mix of international flavors.
  • Wings on Wheels: Hailing from Colorado, this food truck specializes in classic American comfort food such as chicken wings, smash burgers, chicken tenders, loaded mac and cheese.

A festival without fences, Neon City Festival extends from the Fremont East District to Fremont Street Experience and the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, to the Arts District all the way down to Las Vegas Blvd. and The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower.

Neon City Festival will also feature:

  • Over 20 musical acts of all genres performing across four stages, with headliners Alison Wonderland, Neon Trees, Russell Dickerson and Seven Lions.
  • Captivating moments such as laser art shows, strolling entertainment and a special 3D-motion graphic show on Viva Vision, the worlds largest LED canopy screen.
  • Citywide entertainment featuring block parties, pop-up performances, street festivals and surprises from beloved downtown attractions

Created by Downtown Las Vegas casino owner Derek Stevens  with support from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) – and overseen by appointed Neon City Festival CEO Jeff Victor, the event was conceived to show appreciation for Las Vegas locals and visitors alike.
