Naxos Taverna Launches Weekend Lunch on Sept. 1

Naxos Taverna at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa will launch weekend lunch starting Sept. 1, available Friday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., highlighting favorite and novelty dishes from the Mediterranean seafood-focused restaurant. Named Las Vegas Weekly’s “Best Greek Food,” Naxos will feature the full menu along with a $35 prix fixe menu, offering an accessible luxury for those seeking an unforgettable midday escape.
“At Naxos Taverna, we believe that lunch is not just a meal, but an experience to be savored and enjoyed,” Chef and Partner Mark Andelbradt said. “Our new prix fixe lunch menu is designed to transport your taste buds to the shores of Greece, offering a journey through the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean at an affordable price.”
The lunch prix fixe menu includes:
First Course (choice of):
· Green Chickpea Falafel with tahini yogurt, red schug
· Greek Salad with pickled shallots, marinated feta
· Marouli Salad with little gems, cucumber, olives, feta
· Chef’s Choice Oysters (4 pieces) with East or West Coast oysters
· Kataifi Wrapped Prawns ($10 supplement) with kalamata olive aioli
Entrees (choice of):
· Faroe Island Salmon with roasted pumpkin, chermoula
· 8oz Skirt Steak with salsa verde
· Lavraki grilled and served with charred lemon & sea salt
· Chicken Kaftedes with tomato, feta, chili, mint
· Seafood Linguini ($10 supplement) with shrimp, crab, clams, garlic butter
Dessert (choice of):
· Homemade Ricotta Olive Oil and Pistachio FroYo
· Cookies & Bites
· Spiced Date Cake with warm caramel, candied walnuts
· Baklava cheesecake ($7 supplement) with pistachio filo, strawberry sorbet
To enhance the dining experience further, guests can add a specialty cocktail to the prix fixe menu for $16-$18. From Tsipouro infusions to refreshing creations like The Spartan, made with Ketel One Botanicals Grapefruit & Rose, grapefruit, rosemary, Retsina and soda. A hearty offering of Greek beers and house sangria is also available.
