Skate Below the Stars and Above The Strip:
The Ice Rink at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Returns in Partnership with Coca-Cola® November 28 – January 12
Special Tree Lighting Celebration to Kick Off the Season with Resident Headlining Comedian Chelsea Handler on December 1
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is ringing in the holidays with the return of its beloved Ice Rink with festivities for the whole family. From November 28 through January 12, the Boulevard Pool will magically transform into a rooftop winter wonderland, featuring a 4,200-square-foot ice rink with breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip. Highlighting the merriment is a special tree lighting ceremony on December 1 at 6 p.m., hosted by GRAMMY-nominated comedian, television host, six-time best-selling author and advocate, Chelsea Handler. Her Las Vegas residency, “Chelsea at The Chelsea,” is the first female comedian residency at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas (November 30, January 18, March 21, and April 18).
Coca-Cola® Holiday Village
New this season, the Ice Rink, in partnership with Coca-Cola®, will introduce the Coca-Cola® Holiday Village, adding an extra sprinkle of seasonal magic with a variety of cheerful experiences. Guests can enter a whimsical igloo ice bar serving classic Coca-Cola® in special ice glasses dressed in koozies or visit the Coke® Floats station to try the sweet treat complete with an array of toppings. A Holiday Message Booth will allow visitors to create personalized postcards for their loved ones, while a Cable Gondola Photo Op provides a picturesque backdrop of twinkling lights and winter imagery. Creativity is encouraged at the Ornament Workshop, where guests can customize their own ornaments, all finished with the signature Coca-Cola® seal. Located at the north corner of the deck, the village will be open on select dates from 3 – 11 p.m.
Ski Lodge Waffle Hut
Inspired by the world’s coziest apres-ski bars, experience the outpost: Ski Lodge Waffle Hut. Located rink-side, the high-altitude hideaway pairs the quality of a members-only cocktail club with the low-key comfort and snowy vibes of legendary Jackson Hole. Beyond its uniquely immersive winter cabin aesthetic, Ski Lodge Waffle Hut continues the tradition of offering some of the city’s most sophisticated yet delicious cocktails. The cocktail list, overseen by Superfrico Executive of Beverage Niko Novick, is a spirited mix of elevated classics with a twist on tradition. Ski Lodge Waffle Hut is for adults 21 and over and is open daily from 5 – 11 p.m.
Festive Food & Beverage
Across the deck and at The Chalet – a reimagined mountaintop village with open-air fire pits and festive décor – guests can indulge in a wide selection of craft cocktails and holiday bites. Menu highlights include the French Onion Grilled Cheese, made with gruyere, Swiss cheese and caramelized onions and served with an au jus dip; Beef Brisket Chili in a garlic bread bowl, topped with chipotle sour cream, diced onions and jalapeño; and Beef Bulgogi Poutine, featuring French fries covered with beef gravy, cheese curds and scallions. On Friday and Saturday nights, menu items from the resort’s iconic Secret Pizza by the Slice will be available, alongside a Sausage Cart serving bratwursts and hotdogs on Monday and Tuesday nights.
The Ice Rink’s holiday desserts feature options such as Mexican Churros with spiced chocolate sauce, Hershey’s Campfire S’mores and a Hot Chocolate Stand serving fresh popcorn, warm candied nuts and The Cosmopolitan’s signature trail mix. Adults 21 and over can imbibe in seasonal alcoholic beverages like Mexican Hot Chocolate with Reposado Tequila Espadin Mezcal, Hot Chocolate, toasted marshmallow and sea salt; Hot Buttered Rum made with Anejo Rum, allspice dram and honey spiced butter; or the Pistachio Affogato, with vodka, espresso, Coffee Liqueur and pistachio cream.
