Minus5º ICEBAR invites guests to enjoy its refreshed Grand Prix-themed ice display and new “GRAND PRIX-ICE-P” experience at The Venetian Resort® ahead of the Las Vegas race.

Available from Thursday, Nov. 16 through Saturday, Nov. 18, the “GRAND PRIX-ICE-P” experience includes entry to Minus5º ICEBAR at The Venetian Resort®, a faux fur coat, souvenir Eskimo hat, two souvenir photos, one signature cocktail, one Red Bull Grey Goose (or a house drink to-go upon exit), one Minus5º can koozie, commemorative F1 series eight-ounce Red Bull and complimentary “Cool Experience” entry to the sister Minus5º ICEBAR at The LINQ Promenade. The “GRAND PRIX-ICE-P” experience is available at Minus5º ICEBAR at The Venetian Resort® for $125 per person and can be purchased at the door and at www.minus5experience.com beginning Oct. 23.

On view now, the ice display includes racecar ice sculptures, wrenches, checkered racing flags, toy racecars frozen in blocks of ice and more. The display was created by master ice carvers Dan “Hollywood” Rebholz and Austin Greenleaf. With more than 38 years of experience, Rebholz has won multiple international ice carving championship titles. In addition, he was also part of the Olympic ice carving team in 2002 and 2006. His work has been featured on the Discovery Channel and Food Network.

Greenleaf has also carved ice sculptures for monumental events, including Minnesota Vikings games and the Super Bowl. He now serves as Minus5º ICEBAR’s in-house executive ice sculptor where he assists in designing and executing the rotating ice displays at the three Las Vegas locations.

New blocks of ice were also used in the construction. Each ice block weighed 250 pounds, requiring four men to lift and hoist it into place. Prior to arriving in Las Vegas, the ice was created by utilizing a special process that removes all air bubbles, resulting in the clearest ice possible.

“As the excitement continues to build ahead of next month’s Grand Prix event, we invite guests to immerse themselves in this distinctive ice display that is unlike anything else in Las Vegas,” said Noel Bowman, owner, Minus5º ICEBAR.

The new construction represents part of Minus5º ICEBAR’s quarterly Staying COOL artisan ice sculpting program to keep the experience fresh for guests.
