In honor of Military Appreciation Month, the ladies of FANTASY, the award-winning topless female revue at Luxor Hotel and Casino, will offer a complimentary performance for military personnel and a guest at the 8 p.m. or 10:30 p.m. show on Wednesday, May 18. The gorgeous ladies of FANTASY will perform a tribute to the troops alongside a powerful performance of “God Bless America” sung by lead vocalist, Lorena Peril. L.A. Comedy Club
L.A. Comedy Club is adding a special show in honor of Armed Forces Day on May 21. The midnight show, “Armed & Dangerously Funny,” stars Shang, a stand-up comedy superstar whose credits include “The Late Late Show, “Laffapaloolza,” “Heroes,” “CSI” and “NCIS.” The feature comedians are veterans from multiple branches of the armed forces including Dick Salas, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, known for his award winning short film “Tango Down;” Josh Higuera, a U.S. Army veteran, recognized for his magnetic energy and style; Shannon Mugrage, a U.S. Navy veteran, is the co-owner of Turn 2 Entertainment in Texas and has headlined in over 40 states. Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will honor Military Appreciation Month with a special discount for veterans and active-duty military throughout the month of May. All military personnel will receive 20% off their purchase with a valid military ID.
Museum Fiasco
In honor of Military Appreciation Month, Museum Fiasco, an immersive art museum located in AREA15, will offer reduced ticket prices for active servicemembers and veterans. With proof of valid military ID, military personnel may purchase tickets for $12 to enjoy the 5,000-square-foot exhibit’s trio of large-scale, core shaking audio-visual experiences by Playmodes Studio, an audiovisual research studio.
