with Christmas Cheer and New Year’s Glamour

Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant, Clique Hospitality’s acclaimed Mexican dining destination at Durango Casino & Resort, invites guests to celebrate the season with a Christmas feast and New Year’s Eve soirée. On Wednesday, Dec. 25, guests can indulge in decadent Christmas dishes including a 7-ounce Chilean sea bass, priced at $60; or the surf & turf, an 8-ounce prime filet paired with succulent king crab legs, priced at $85. Mijo’s regular menu offerings will also be available, featuring elevated favorites such as butter-poached lobster tacos, sizzling fajitas and whole grilled branzino. Throughout the evening, guests can sip on flavorful signature margaritas or refreshing cocktails like the Desert Thorn made with Don Julio blanco, blueberry Redbull and prickly pear.
To bid farewell to 2024 on Tuesday, Dec. 31, Mijo’s will combine exquisite dining with vibrant entertainment. From 4 to 11 p.m., guests can enjoy specialty holiday dishes including fresh Kumamoto oysters, served by the dozen with cucumber mignonette, chipotle cocktail sauce and lemon, priced at $50; or a tomahawk surf & turf with a mouthwatering 55-ounce grilled tomahawk and butter-poached merus king crab leg, served with chili-lobster cream sauce and guajillo butter, priced at $350. Starting at 8 p.m., a live DJ and samba dancers will fill the night with high-energy music and dazzling performances until the clock strikes midnight to ring in the new year.
Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant will be open from 4 to 11 p.m. on Christmas and 4 p.m. to midnight on New Year’s Eve.
